Wholly owned ventures
Built and scaled with our own capital and execution.
A premium holding and venture-building company focused on creating scalable businesses and enduring value across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Built on disciplined execution, strategic partnerships and long-term thinking, Montfort develops ventures with clear positioning, structured ownership models and the operating focus required to scale.
Its portfolio spans hospitality and wellness, entertainment, sustainable infrastructure, advisory and brand-growth services. We don’t build around short-term trends; we build around market relevance, strong partnerships and scalable operating models, each investment developed with strategic clarity, governance and accountability.
We focus on sectors where market transformation, premium positioning and long-term growth potential intersect.

Long-term value over short-term gains.
To build a diversified portfolio of enduring businesses that create long-term value across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
To identify high-potential ventures, structure them for long-term value, and support them with the capital, partnerships and operating discipline required to scale.
Our ambition is not simply to build businesses that succeed in our time, but to build an institution worthy of the generations that come after us.
Khalid Aboud founded Montfort with a clear ambition: to build businesses that create meaningful value today while remaining strong enough to matter tomorrow.
His career spans more than a decade of leadership across commercial strategy, business development, operations, market expansion and P&L management in Saudi Arabia, working across complex industrial markets and with major public- and private-sector organizations.
When I founded Montfort, I did not want to create another company whose success would be measured only by its size, revenue, or visibility. I wanted to build an institution.
An institution with the ambition to grow, certainly, but also with the discipline to know why it is growing, the confidence to decline opportunities that are not right for it, and the patience to build capabilities before pursuing scale.
Business will always change. Industries will evolve. Technologies will advance, markets will open, and opportunities we cannot foresee today will emerge. Montfort must be capable of changing with them. But there are things I believe should remain constant: the value of our word, the quality of our work, the fairness of our dealings, the responsibility we accept for our decisions, and the respect we show to the people who place their confidence in us.
These principles are not separate from commercial success. I believe they are what make sustainable commercial success possible.
I also believe that no company truly endures because of one person. A founder may establish the direction, but an institution is ultimately built by the people who carry its responsibilities, improve its systems, challenge its thinking, develop those who follow them, and leave what they received stronger than they found it.
Our ambition for Montfort is therefore larger than building a collection of successful businesses. We want to create ventures that solve real needs, partnerships that deserve to last, opportunities through which capable people can grow, and businesses whose presence leaves their markets better than they found them.
There will be moments when the faster decision is not the better decision, when an attractive opportunity is not the right opportunity, and when protecting a standard costs more than compromising it. Those moments will reveal more about Montfort than any statement written on a website.
My responsibility as founder is therefore not simply to determine where Montfort goes. It is to help ensure that, as Montfort grows, it never loses the reason it deserves to continue.
That is what Built to Endure means to me.
